Privacy policy
Last updated 2 October 2026
This page covers what we collect when you use nexxushift.com, why we collect it, who else gets to see it, and how to have it deleted. We're a creator business, not a data company. We don't sell anyone's details, and we collect as little as we can.
Who we are
Nexxus Shift is owned and run by Teodora and Mayara, who are jointly responsible for the data described here (its "controllers", in GDPR terms). Questions, requests or complaints about your data go to team@nexxushift.com, and one of us reads it.
What we collect and why
If you fill in the contact form
Your name, email, your business or handle, what you'd like help with, your message, and the IP address you sent it from (it helps us spot spam). It arrives as an email in our inbox. We use it to reply and, if we end up working together, to plan that work. The legal basis is taking steps you asked for before a possible contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).
If nothing comes of the conversation, we delete it within 12 months.
If you take the quiz
Your email, your first name if you give it, your answers, the result you got, and the time you agreed to hear from us. We use it to send your result and occasional emails about building and selling a first product. The legal basis is your consent (art. 6(1)(a)), which you give with the checkbox before the result.
Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops emails straight away. If you'd also like your answers deleted, email us and we'll delete them. Otherwise we keep them while you're subscribed, and for up to 12 months after you unsubscribe, as a record of the consent you gave.
To stop the quiz being flooded with fake sign-ups, we keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address for a few minutes. It's never stored with your answers.
If you book a call
The quiz result has a booking calendar from TidyCal built in, with your name and email filled in from the quiz. When you book, TidyCal gets the details you enter and sends us the booking. Their own privacy policy covers what they do with it.
Analytics and cookies
If you click "Accept" on the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics. It tells us how many people visit, which pages they read, roughly where they're from, and what device they use. We use that to find out what's working on the site. It doesn't tell us who you are, and we don't use it for advertising. The legal basis is your consent. If you say no, Google Analytics is never loaded.
| Name | Set by | What for | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics | Tells one visitor apart from another | 2 years |
_ga_5TEGGN45J4 | Google Analytics | Keeps track of your current visit | 2 years |
The site also saves a few small things in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device and never reach us: your light/dark choice (theme), your cookie choice (nx_consent), whether you've already seen the quiz popup (nx_quiz_prompt_seen), and your quiz result, so it's still there if you come back (nx_quiz_result). These are needed for the site to work the way you asked, so they don't need consent.
You can change your mind about analytics at any time:
Fonts and icons
To show the page, your browser loads fonts from Google Fonts and Adobe Fonts, and icons from unpkg, a public code CDN. Like any web request, that shares your IP address with those services. Adobe Fonts also counts page views for font licensing. None of them set cookies.
Who else handles it
We use a small number of services to run the site. Each one only gets what it needs for its job:
- Hostinger hosts the site, delivers contact form emails and stores quiz sign-ups on the server (EU).
- Resend stores our email list and sends the quiz result emails (USA).
- Google runs Analytics, only if you accept, and Google Fonts (USA).
- Adobe serves the display font through Adobe Fonts (USA).
- TidyCal runs call bookings, only if you book (USA).
Where data goes to the USA, it's covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. If we move our newsletter to another provider, we'll name them here before we do.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit what we do with it, or send it to you in a format you can take elsewhere. You can object to us using it, and withdraw any consent you've given, at any time. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect anything we did before you withdrew it. Email team@nexxushift.com and we'll reply within a month, usually much sooner.
If you think we've handled your data badly, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the AEPD, or the authority in your own EU country.
Changes
If we change what we collect or who we share it with, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If it's a big change and you're on our email list, we'll tell you by email.
